What this site stores
The site does not provide user accounts or contact forms. It stores two preferences in your browser’s local storage: your selected color theme and whether you accepted or rejected optional third-party services. Local storage remains on your device until you clear it. The SwapAd placement also uses session storage to remember the selected advertisement and whether you dismissed it during the current browser session.
SwapAd placement
Directory pages load the advertising embed from swapad.net when the page opens. It requests an advertisement from SwapAd without sending credentials and uses session storage for its current-session state. Requests to SwapAd expose ordinary network information such as your IP address, browser headers and referring page; its delivery network may also use security cookies.
Optional advertising and audience measurement
Other advertising and audience-measurement scripts are not loaded until you select “Accept optional services.” If accepted, the site may load advertising technology from woofbeginner.com, together with the WAU/whos.amung.us audience widget and their technical partners. These providers may process your IP address, browser information, referring page and device identifiers, and may store or read cookies or similar identifiers under their own policies.
You can use the directory without accepting these services. Select “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time to change your choice. Rejecting after previously accepting reloads the page so optional scripts stop running.
Affiliate links
Some links are referral or affiliate links. If you register or make a purchase after following one, the directory may receive a commission at no additional cost to you. Commissions do not determine the order of listings. Affiliate destinations operate under their own privacy policies.
External websites
The directory links to independent third-party websites. Their content, security, cookies and privacy practices are controlled by those third parties. Review their terms before creating an account, submitting personal information or making a payment.
Your choices
You may reject optional services, clear this site’s local storage in your browser, block third-party cookies, or leave the site. Browser privacy controls may offer additional options.
